Lady Jesamyn Angelica’s Oracular Musings for the Week of August 4th
Sun in Leo
Season: Lammastide
Moon Passages:
8/4: New Moon in Leo
8/5-8/10: Waxing Crescent Moon in Leo, void-of-course Leo, in Virgo, void-of-course Virgo, in Libra, void-of-course Libra, and in Scorpio
A lovely new lunation begins our week with the Moon and Sun conjunct in cheerful, bright Leo, and we continue our walk through the Season of the First Harvest. What is ripening in your life, Dear Ones? What harvest have you already brought in, and what are you looking forward to?
The concept of sustainability has presenced itself for us now, and I invite us all to consider how this energy is working—or isn’t working—in our lives and in our realms. What is no longer sustainable for you to continue carrying on with? What is? The time of harvest is also one of pruning and stripping back alongside the waning power of the Sun. Begin contemplating *now* what you do not want to drag with you into the Dark Time of the Year.
Remember, unchecked growth is not sustainable. It is okay—in fact, it is absolutely necessary—to cut things away that are no longer of good use. You do not have to feel guilty or bad about this, Beloveds, so long as you are aware of what you are doing, and why.
Sometimes addition by subtraction is exactly what we need to manifest our highest goals and the prosperity which nurtures and supports them.
