Can you feel the seasons shifting, Dear Ones? We move from the Dark Moon to the High Holyday of Lunar Imbolc, and then the Waxing Crescent Moon brings us to the High Holyday of Imbolc proper. Deep within, the Earth is quickening, as are we. It is time for us to being shaking off Winter’s slumber, to begin our reemergence into the growing light of the fiery Sun.
And as all of the cosmic pieces are moving around, so is our world also shifting. We must choose what is most important to us, yet again. What will we protect, above all? What can we let go of? What is most meaningful? What is not? This is a week of decision-making, of getting very, very honest with our own Sweet Selves.
We will most likely have to choose what we are going to leave behind us, too. And this won’t be easy!
Let’s be gentle with ourselves as everything around us—and we, ourselves—transform. We can do hard things, Dear One! Remember, life itself is change. Normalize this and things will feel less fragile.
