We enter the season of the First Harvest this week, and the primary message is that we must trust ourselves *first,* before anyone else. Have you ever gone along with someone’s ideas, even when you had a bad feeling about it? Look back upon that time (or times) and notice how that worked out for you. Did you lose or disconnect from a part of your inner self, no matter how small?
We no longer have the luxury of abdicating our authority for ourselves and our lives, my Loves. Each of us is needed now, standing firmly and fully in our own Truths and our own power-within. *This* is what we must bring to partnerships now, no longer subsuming our knowledge, our wisdom, or our needs beneath those of another.
And this isn’t just about romantic relationships, either. This is applicable in *all* situations we find ourselves within. Cooperation and working with others is not about doing things that we aren’t aligned with, just to keep the peace. In “keeping the peace” whilst quietly feeling unquiet, we forfeit our own peace.
