Lady Jesamyn Angelica’s Oracular Musings for the Week of September 21st
Sun in Virgo into Sun in Libra
Season: Lammastide transitioning into Fall Equinoxtide
Moon Passages:
9/21: Dark Moon in Virgo; New Moon in Virgo; Waxing Crescent Moon in Virgo and void-of-course Virgo
9/22-9/27: Waxing Crescent Moon in void-of-course Virgo, in Libra and void-of-course Libra, in Scorpio and void-of-course Scorpio, and in Sagittarius
Sunday marks the fresh beginning of the New Moon Virgo as well as the closure of the Eclipse Vortex that comes with the Partial Solar Eclipse, also in Virgo. On Monday, we breeze into airy Libra Season and, after the Equinox on that morning, move fully into Autumn, the dark half of the Wheel of the Year. This is a week of transitions and getting our feet fully back underneath our bodies, Dear Ones!
Pause and breathe. Slow your breath, your blood, your thoughts, and your actions. With intention and mindfulness, acknowledge the changing of the seasons and the changes in your own life. This is the time of the Second Harvest. What will you bring forth? What will you compost?
This is a week for adjusting and aligning ourselves. Even though it may still be warm outside, it is no longer summer. Autumn calls for a different, slower way of being. Resolve conflicts now, including those within yourself. Become aware of what you do not want to bring with you into the beginning that is rooted in this ending. Cleanse yourself of all unsupportive patterns, habits, and addictions. Get very, very clear on where you are now and where you hope to be in the future.
Be kind and gentle with yourself as you do this holy work. You matter!
