Mama Luna is growing ever larger and ever stronger and this week, we step through the portal into a new season: Samhaintide, the Third Harvest, the time to remember Those Who Came Before and to tidy up our lives in preparation for the restfulness that comes alongside the Sacred Dark.
We are invited to contemplate the meaning of happiness. What makes you happy, Beloveds? How can we, collectively, make the world a happier place? We are counseled to “love ourselves first,” but how? Feel into this with the Knowing that this life is so short, and there is no time of year when that is more obvious than now.
There is a vibe of swiftly moving energies this week, one of excitement and urgency that leads us to take quick action, to try new things, perhaps even to risk it all. It’s okay to let our passions fly as we move closer and closer toward the completion of our projects, toward tying everything up tightly before we step fully into the Holy Darkness.
Remember, though, that we are crossing a hallowed threshold and that the veil Between the Worlds is quite thin. Be sure to take time to *ground* all of these high energies that you are working with, pause *every day* to integrate mind with body, heart with spirit. Seek to moderate highs and lows, to harmonize instead of balance, to mitigate extremes through centered consciousness.
